Life, Death, The Universe, and Some Other Stuff A new book by John C. Heglin
Available on Amazon books, Kindle, and Barnes and Noble.
Reviews for Life, Death, The Universe, and Some Other Stuff:
Heglin writes with the wit and richly complex narrative of Mark Twain and the folksy narrative vigor of Garrison Keillor…Inevitably, each story leaves me hungry for the next adventure. It was the title that caught my attention and it did not disappoint. These strange, weird, wonderful stories were so much fun to read. Joyful, funny, exhilarating, adventurous and sometimes filled with pathos. I love the style; it's as if a friend is telling you stories while you hike or sit around the camp fire. The voice is fresh and unique. I'm buying more copies as gifts.

This book is all TRUE! It is short stories about an ever curious individual free to explore the world around him, focusing on animals and wildlife, and having extraordinary adventures. I could not put the book down, and still wanted MORE! Heglin is a gifted writer who keeps the narrative moving fast. You will smile throughout his adventures, even though with some you gasp with apprehension!Connie Muther, author, consultant, lecturer and educator.
Amazing stories which inspire me to revive my own! The stories are quite diverse, from bears, ghosts, lakes, mountains, sharks, and friends... The style is amazing, stories go one way then change directions...and very funny at times, and very tender at others...it is difficult to believe those really happened, and yet, pictures and details are there with so much precision and description...I felt like I was in it!

This book has very entertaining and interesting life stories. They will be you laugh and make you cry. I can't wait to read more of these stories in another book.

John Heglin's story telling is captivating. I didn't put the book down until I finished. Ok, maybe it was put down for food and potty breaks... but it was an enjoyable read!
